The Murder Mystery
Four timed puzzle rooms designed by world-renowned magician and stuntman Apollo Jackson. Crack the lockbox in each room, collect the evidence and race your rivals to name the killer.
The Bar
A fully stocked bar is open all night. Order beer, wine or cocktails by the glass, or set up a bar tab for your group. No drinks packages, just great drinks, your way.
Gourmet Dining
Choose from three dining packages: The Accomplice, The Interrogation or the premium Mastermind. Dining is served from 6:00 pm after the verdict is called.
Optional Charter
Add a private charter coach to your booking. Nominate your own pickup location within the Gold Coast and arrive in style. Return transport at approximately 7–8 pm for charter guests.
Can You Crack the Case?
The moment the clock strikes 4:00 pm, the mystery begins. A murder has been committed and your group must crack the case before time runs out. Cluedo-style, you need to identify the killer, the weapon and the method, but nothing comes easy.
Every group rotates through all four rooms. In each room, you solve clues to unlock a lockbox and claim the evidence inside. Every group gets a turn in every room, but only the sharpest detectives will piece it all together first.
It is a race against the other groups. The competition gets fierce. Think your crew has what it takes? Prove it.
Minimum of 4 players per group. A minimum of 12 players must be paid for regardless of actual attendance.
How the Night Unfolds
Arrival
Guests who haven't booked charter arrive at the venue independently by 3:45 pm. Charter guests are already on their way, drinks in hand, anticipation building.
Welcome & Briefing
Your host sets the scene. The murder has been committed. The suspects are in place. Your mission is explained and the clock starts.
The Investigation
Your group rotates through all four timed puzzle rooms. Solve the clues, crack the lockbox, claim the evidence. Every room brings you closer to the killer, or further away. The bar is open throughout.
The Verdict
The investigation closes. Groups compare their answers and the winning team is crowned. Did you get the killer, the weapon and the method right?
Dining
Your chosen dining package is served. Settle in, relive the night and enjoy your meal. The bar stays open, order by the glass or keep the tab running.
The Night is Yours
Linger at the bar as long as you like. Charter guests are returned to their nominated pickup point at approximately 7–8 pm. Everyone else heads home with a story worth telling.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people do I need?
A minimum of 4 players per group. Regardless of how many guests attend, a minimum of 12 players must be paid for. There is no upper limit, larger groups simply form multiple competing teams.
Is it suitable for all ages?
Mystery Manor Experience is designed for adults and older teenagers. The bar is available to guests of legal drinking age. The puzzle rooms are suitable for anyone who enjoys a challenge.
What is the venue?
The experience is hosted at Brooklyn Wine & Tapas Bar, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227, a secret venue revealed to confirmed bookings.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Mystery Manor Experience is private bookings only. Dates fill quickly, especially for weekends and holiday periods. Enquire early to secure your preferred date.
What if I don't want the charter?
Charter is entirely optional. Guests who don't book it simply arrive at the venue independently by 3:45 pm, ready for the 4:00 pm start.
Are drinks included in the dining packages?
No. The bar is available all night and guests can purchase drinks by the glass or set up a bar tab. No drinks packages are included in any dining package.
